Risk disclosure
Risks of trading perpetual futures through HyperVeil.
Perpetual futures are leveraged. You can lose more than you expect, quickly.
- Leverage and liquidation. Positions are liquidated when equity falls below maintenance.
- Shared pool. The pool's aggregate position is public on Hyperliquid. Pool-wide liquidation or auto-deleveraging can affect every user in that pool if internal risk controls fail.
- Market and venue risk. Prices, liquidity and funding are Hyperliquid's; outages or extreme moves there affect HyperVeil.
- Privacy limits. Market activity, pool activity and timing remain public and can support statistical inference. See the Threat model.
- Verification scope. Cryptographic verification is designed to cover the collateralisation and solvency statements the protocol publishes. It does not apply to paper-mode activity in the terminal.
- Smart-contract and software risk. Software can fail.
